It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Helen Gene Eberhart of Vero Beach, Florida, born in Orangeburg, South Carolina, who passed away on August 29, 2024, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Charles Barr Eberhart; and her parents, Eugene Whittington (Whit) and Marianna Braswell Smith. She is survived by: her son Charles Eugene (Lori); her grandsons, Charles William (Sofia) and David Barr (Kara); her daughter Margaret Eberhart Moore (David); her grandchildren, Andrew David and Jennifer Gene Lightfoot (Matt); and also Ellie Katherine.
