He was predeceased by: his parents, Ethel Hirst (Dyer) and Raymond Hirst; and his siblings, Robert, William, Albert, John, Edwin, Cody, Andrew, Marianne Clarke and Olie Adams.
He is survived by: his wife Gail Partridge of Clayton, NY; his children, Steve Hirst (Sue Greene) and Kimberly Arroyo (Dave); his grandchildren, Sage Arroyo, Xander Arroyo, Christopher Hirst, Brittany Hirst, Makayla Broadfoot (Jonathan) and Alyssa Parker (Joshua); and his great grandchildren, Pearl Parker and Remi Parker. He is also survived by nieces & nephews.
