Edward Joseph Materne Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Joseph Materne (Vero Beach, Florida), who passed away on June 10, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Ed was born in New York and owned the COZY CORNER TAVERN with his partner For 10 years. He moved to Hollywood Florida and owned a limo service for senior citizens for many years. He moved with his wife Ada to Vero Beach. He is survived by his wife of 43 years and his step-son Gary Fraas. Ada and Gary wish to thank the veterans administration, Hospice, the VNA, and the Indian River Paramedics for their support, comfort, and assistance during Ed’s illness. There will be a memorial mass held at a later date at St Helen’s church. He will be cremated at Neptune Society in Plantation Florida. Thank you.
