He was predeceased by: his former wife Gael Furness Ives; his stepson Richard Thomas Kendrick; and his sister Patricia Ives Perry. He is survived by: his wife Jane H. Ives of Vero Beach; his sons, Dermod Ives, III of Samford, CT and Todd William Ives (Maeve) of New York; his stepsons, James Michael Kendrick, III (Leslie) of Stuttgart, Germany and Mark Jeffery Kendrick of Austin; and his grandsons, James Finnegan Kendrick and William Henry Kendrick of Stuttgart. He is also survived by niece, and numerous nephews.
