Claire Morkan Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claire Morkan (Vero Beach, Florida), who passed away on July 21, 2018 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her former husbands, George McSweeney and William Morkan; her brothers, Phil Barber and Irving Barber; and her great grandchild Dillon Vuksanovich.
She is survived by: her husband George McSweeney; her daughters, Rosemary Barnard (Richard) and Claire Gill; her grandchildren, Michelle Battaglia, Andrea Vuksanovich and Robert Bourque; and her sister Beverly Benjamin. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to American Red Cross IRC Chapter, 2506 17th Ave., Vero Beach, FL 32960 , and VNA Hospice House, The family will receive friends on Tuesday, July 31, from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM with a Prayer Service beginning at 12:30 PM at Strunk Funeral Home Vero Beach.
