Charles J. Sakany Jr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2023, at the age of 93, Charles J. Sakany Jr. of Vero Beach, Florida passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles and Joanna; his son Charles Francis Sakany (Elizabeth) of Vero Beach, FL; and his sister Audrey F. McDermott. He is survived by: his wife Geraldine (Jeri); his pet Pippa; his daughters, Deborah Baker of Fort Lee, NJ, Mary Catherine Sakany of Los Angeles, CA, Lois Sakany of Brooklyn, NY and Ellen Sakany of Arvada, CO; and his grandchildren, Andrew Baker (Lauren DiLeonardo), Bill Sakany, Sarah Sakany and Isaiah Sakany. He is also survived by one niece and eight nephews, and many grand-nieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations in memory of Chuck to Cardinal Hayes High School, Development Dept., 650 Grand Concourse, Bronx, NY 10451.
