He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki L. Johnson-Williams (late Curtis Williams) and Rhonda A. McGilberry (Timothy McGilberry); his brother Victor "Frisky" Johnson; his stepsisters, Sandy and Donna Douglas (Freddie Douglas); and his grandchildren, Rochelle Robertson (Wayne Robertson), Catonia Johnson, Corey Johnson (Danielle Johnson), David Williams, Antoinette Johnson, Victor Johnson, Mariah Williams, Timothy McGilberry II (Maribel McGilberry), Titus McGilberry, Thomas McGilberry and Tobias McGilberry. He is also survived by 15 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews.
