He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Cordeiro Miranda, Jr. and Matilde Miranda (Diogo); and his brother Leonardo C. Miranda. He is survived by: his children, Joseph D. Miranda (Ilana) of Mahwah and Hannah L. Kearns (Peter) of Danvers, MA; his sister Donaria "Donna" Miranda of Fall River; his grandchildren, Elora Mattie Miranda, Isaac Chay Miranda, Gigi Love Kearns and Sienna Love Kearns; and his former wife Ronna Miranda (Feintzeig). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and many cousins.
