He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie and Callie; his wife Elder Eveline Bell Moore; his siblings, Willie Moore, Sr., Isaiah Moore, Sr., Laura Hesten and Carama Moore; and his grandchildren, Kajauna L. Dean and Kyle W. Dean.

He is survived by: his children, George Dean (Doris) of Ebro, Leonard Dean (Linda) of Ebro, Darryl Johnson (Beverly) of Waco, Alonzo Johnson of Panama City, Anthony Johnson of Pheonix City, Debra Austin of Panama City, Darlene Thomas (David) of Pheonix City, Althea Porter (Kenneth) of Jacksonville and Ramonda Moore Brown of Montgomery, Alabama; his siblings, Eddie Moore of Panama City, Florida, Dannie McCreary of Panama City, Florida, Mattie J. Bell of Panama City, Annie Jackson (Charles) of Panama City and Margaret Ware (Willie) of Gainesville, Florida; and his brother-in-law Ezra E. Bell of California. He is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
