She was predeceased by: her parents, Roscoe Stephens and Nellie Margaret Stephens (Sperry); and her siblings, Roscoe Edward Stephens, Miriam Sperry Stephens Burton and Mary Elizabeth Stephens Kilgore.
She is survived by: her husband Reign Hugh Shipley; her children, Mary Jo Watlington (Jim) of Golden, Colorado, Carol Margaret Sisk (Dwayne) of Stafford, Virginia and William Jeffrey Shipley (Valerie) of Tallahassee, Florida; her grandchildren, Paul Richard Shipley (Diana), Eric David Watlington, Daniel James Watlington (Laressa) and Patricia Ashley Shipley; and her great grandchildren, Zachary Dylan Shipley, Katelyn Nicole Shipley, Aydrian Joel Grenhoff and Layla Rae Kirkland. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
