He was predeceased by: his parents, LeRoy Rowell and Laura Pittman Rowell; and his son Russell Rowell. He is survived by: his wife Vera Hammack; his son Randy Rowell (Jenny); his grandchildren, Elizabeth Rowell, Jason Rowell and Christopher Rowell; and his stepchildren, Vera Laverne Taylor (Tommy), Roy Hammack (Pat), Judy Basarab (John), Kathy Gibson (Ronnie) and Tim Hammack (Laurie). He is also survived by ten step-grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
