It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Warrene MacArthur of Venice, Florida, born in Amarillo, Texas, who passed away on September 22, 2020, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Perry and Vera Pearl; and her husband Lindsay Macarthur, Jr.. She is survived by: her former husband William Ward Nichols, Jr.; her children, Anne M. Booth (Thomas) of Winston-Salem, NC, Jennifer M. Davis (Davis III), David P. Nichols (Louise Reid Boyce) and Peter L. Macarthur (Cooperstown) of Dobbs Ferry; her grandchildren, Ensign Owen P, Gwenyth A. Davis, Eliza Campbell Nichols and William Hewitt Ward Nichols; and her brother Warren Perry Shreve (Diane) of Blue Springs, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In consideration of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, a gathering in memory of Lennie will be held in Cooperstown next summer.
