He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Jones and Lillian Jones; and his wife Carolyn VanGilder. He is survived by: his children, Kathy Elliott (Bill) and Karey Cain (Mike); his sister Audrey Taylor; his grandsons, Chad Shaffer, Justin Shuler (Lisa) and Daniel Shaffer; and his great grandchildren, Shaelyn, Chad, Seth, Liam of Tyler, AJ and Gracie.
Visitation was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Callahan & Hughes Funeral Home (605 S 25th St, Terre Haute, IN 47803). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
