It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Karen Elaine Chidester (Venice, Florida), born in Fort Knox, Kentucky, who passed away on September 15, 2024, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Col. William Englert and Rita Englert (Carrol). She is survived by: her husband Jerry Chidester; her daughters, Kellie Chidester Shoop (Flint), Jennifer Bell (Dennis) and Allyson Chidester; her grandchildren, Kylie Amuso (Nick), Wesley Bell, Katelyn McIntosh and Brendan McIntosh; her great grandchild Johnathan James; her brother Timothy Englert (Rhonda); and her nieces, Jill Burton, Holly Kirby, Julie Bradford, Holly Bouchard and Traci Kelley.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 4:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Plantation Golf & Country Club (500 Rockley Blvd, Venice, FL 34293). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at the same location.
