Edward Martin Myslivecek Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Edward Martin Myslivecek (Venice, Florida), who passed away on January 21, 2025, at the age of 101, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Edward may no longer walk beside us, his memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Edward touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In his absence, his spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
He was predeceased by: his wife Teresa Collins Myslivecek; his girlfriend Lilian Papash; and his daughter Margaret McCaslin (Chris) of Babylon, NY.. He is survived by: his children, Cathy Marco (Frank) of Mystic, CT, Marie Gallay (Sy) of Babylon, NY, Edward Myslivecek (Heidi Abramovich) of Chanhassen, MN and Barbara Colpas (Gerald). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
The military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
