He is survived by: his wife Nettie; his children, Linda Thompson of Charlotte, NC and Greg; his daughter-in-law Amy Roberts of Venice, FL; his grandchildren, Matt Thompson (Sophie Pierce) of Los Angeles, CA, Dan Roberts of Winston and Allison (Michael Mayer) of Charlotte; and his great grandchildren, Ainsley and Piper Mayer.
