Barry C. Durand Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Barry C. Durand of Venice, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Durand and Evelyn Payne Durand; and his brother Clifford Durand. He is survived by: his wife Eleanor Johnsen Durand; his daughters, Christine Heron (Shawn) and Carrie Cardace (Victor); his grandchildren, Kyle Heron (Sophia), Steven Heron, Brian Cardace and Kelly Cardace; and his great grandchildren, Brysen and Emily Heron.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Barry's favorite charity, St. Jude Children's Hospital. Honor Barry Durand's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
