He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gregory Kapustiak and Elsa Kapustiak (Buruschkin); his wife Alice Kapustiak (Grous); his children, Bill Kapustiak (Ashley), Kristen Kapustiak, Greg Kapustiak (Chrissy), Daniel Kapustiak (Jessica) and Addison Kapustiak; his grandchildren, Harlow, Myla, Ollie and Eli; and his siblings, Tamara Reuter (Kapustiak) and Michael Kapustiak.
