He was predeceased by: his parents, Kasper Rentz and Julianna Rentz (Landgraf). He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ann Rentz (Tyrrell); his children, Robert Stephen Rentz, Julie Ann Metz and Mary Catherine Petriko (Mark); and his grandchildren, Ryan Wesley Metz, Lea Alicia Metz, Michelle Ann Metz, Michael Steven Metz and Morgan Vail Petriko.
