He was predeceased by: his father Randolf "Skeet" Pettys; and his brother Charles "Randy" Pettys. He is survived by: his mother Leona "Tiny" Pettys; his daughter Ashley Pettys; his granddaughter Willow Brilynn Pettys; and his sisters, Janice Anderson (Mark) and Reba Ferlita (Sam). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
