She was predeceased by: her husband George Sandy; her parents, Walter Earl and Wonneta Gay Goodwin; her daughter Pamela Bettis; and her sister Shirley Goodwin Cottrell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Vicki Woodruff, Peggy Miller (Leonard), Sherri Trinidad, Sonja Butler (David), Joyce Gill (Tom) and Gloria Gillespie (Mike); and her siblings, Earl Goodwin Jr (Helen), Cecil Goodwin (Shirley), Vesta Strother and Judy Farrell. She is also survived by 7 grandchildren; and 25 great-grandchildren.
