We are sad to announce that on May 9, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Laci Jae Wood of Valrico, Florida, born in Terre Haute, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

As we bid Laci Jae farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Laci Jae is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.

She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Terry, JoAnn Wood of Fontanet and James Strain of Rosedale, Indiana.. She is survived by: her parents, William Wood and Sandra Wood; her sisters, Jesi Flores (Michael), Kori Wood and Kayla Altman of Rosedale, Indiana; and her person Tony Lee of California. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Memorial contributions may be made in Laci's name to A Kid's Place of Tampa Bay.

“This news is so unfair to hear. Laci was pure joy. My heart is broken for this wonderful family, and this overwhelming grief that they and many will feel. Laci and I were best friends for a season of our lives in high school. I have so many good memories with Laci in our teen years, they were mostly centered around volleyball, we both loved the game and had FUN every season. This world will forever be a little dimmer without the spirit of Laci. I’m so grateful to have loved her.”
