It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Lacy Barfield of Valrico, Florida, who passed away on July 31, 2022, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Jean; and his granddaughter Amber. He is survived by: his children, Jay Barfield (Betty), Jeff Barfield (Dana) and Joy Barfield Griffin; his siblings, Bob Barfield and Bonnie Johnson; and his grandchildren, Jimmy Lee (Dora), Leighan (Will), Lacy (Shawn), Ryan, Zach and Jessica. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations to be made to Meals on Wheels or Harry Anna Trust.
