He is survived by: his children, Lawanna Ashford-Smith and Buddy Rayburn; his sisters, Louise Little, Patsy Corkum and Glenda Green; his grandchildren, Jade, Lori and Phillip; and his great grandchildren, Jax, Jentry, Anthony, Caleb and Loriah. He is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends.

A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hillsboro Memorial Funeral Home (2323 W Brandon Blvd, Brandon, FL 33511).
