He was predeceased by: his parents, Claude Barron and Thelma Barron LeGear (Bentley); his stepfather Alter LeGear; and his siblings, Clarence Barron, Rudolph Barron, Charles Barron, Junior LeGear and Eula Mae Thomas.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Barron (Baker); his children, Kenny Barron (Debbie) and Kerry Roberts (Jay); and his sister Mary McWhorter. He is also survived by five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren.
