He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Mason; his son Jessie E. Mason; his grandchildren, J. C. Mason, Tucker Mason, Austin Mason and Chandler Mason; and his siblings, Carla Faye Sallee, Jacqulyn Sue Young, David Lavon Mason, Joan Cumbie and Teresa Kay Lewis.
