He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fulton Hatcher and Trannie Elizabeth Gaines Hatcher; his daughter Sandra Devore; his nephew Rodney Hatcher; and his siblings, James William Hatcher (Pete), Richard Owen Hatcher (Dick), Charles Leon Hatcher and Margie Marie Bridgewater.
He is survived by: his wife Jackie Hatcher; his children, Rick Vincent (Janice) and Robin Wadsworth (Phil); his grandchildren, Tyler, Christopher Wadsworth, Megan Vincent and Dady Sullivan (Matt); and his brother Lyman Michael Hatcher. He is also survived by several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
