Wilma M. Emrich Obituary
Wilma Marie Emrich, 88, of Trenton, Florida passed away April 26, 2024. She was born, February 19, 1936 in Gilchrist County, Florida to the late William Avery and Rinda Irene Townsend. She grew up around Branford, but spent most of her life in the Trenton area.
Mrs. Emrich worked as a waitress and cook at several resta urants, and was of the Baptist faith. In her spare time she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her grandchildren.
Mrs. Emrich is survived by her sons Allen Emrich (Judy) and Johnny Emrich (Terri), her daughter Brenda Poppell (David), her brother Buster Townsend (Judy) her sister Ila Hamill (Neil), six grandchildren Rachel Emrich, Clinton Emrich, Savannah Emrich, Danielle Emrich, Misty Poppell and David Poppell (Bubba), seven great-grandchildren, and other extended family members. She was preceded in death by her husband Harold Emrich and her sons Leroy Emrich, Larry Emrich, and Danny Emrich and her brother Franklin "Buddy" Townsend.
Funeral services for Mrs. Emrich will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at the Hatch Bend Baptist Church in Branford, Florida, with Pastor Brett Patterson officiating. Interment will follow in the Hatch Bend Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Church one hour prior to the service.
