It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Anker Pedersen Jr. (Trenton, Florida), born in Windham, New York, who passed away on January 26, 2019, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George "Anker" and Elizabeth Shufelt Pedersen. He is survived by: his spouse Harriett Moore Pedersen; his sons, Kenneth Pedersen (Charlotte) of Trenton and Tim Pedersen (Linda) of Chiefland; his siblings, Anna Studstill (Robert) of Chiefland, Sharon Pedersen (Leno) and Richard Pedersen (Herta) of Trenton; his grandchildren, Otte Pedersen, Laura Teague (Lemmy) and Cody Pedersen; and his great grandchildren, Devin, Emily, Laina and Linden. He is also survived by one great-great-grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

“George was a wonderful brother and friend throughout my life. He was the type of person that was always there for people when they needed a hand. He believed in teaching people how to fish so they could fend for themselves. He had the most amazing work ethic and taught his children how to do the same and get ahead in life. He is so very missed and I couldn't have loved him more. He was not only my brother he was my best friend.”
