He was predeceased by: his wife Eileen Cuervo; his parents, Luis Ortiz and Tomasita "Toni" Hardina; and his stepfather Noel Hardina. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer O. Jones (Stephen), Marianne Ortiz Touger, Darrin Louis Ortiz and Eric L. Ortiz; his brother Phillip Ortiz (Kristie); his grandchildren, Carmen, Treasa, Sadie Jones, Sarah, Elise, Katherine Touger, Elijah Ortiz and Kenix Ortiz; and also Eddie Rivera. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
