He was predeceased by: his parents, Aldine Harris and Ernest Ronald Mahr; his grandmother Ida Aldine Harris; and his nephew Andrew Mahr. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Mahr (Elizabeth), Roderick Mahr (Marjorie), Kevin Mahr (Missy), Susan St. Jean (Mark) and Timothy Mahr; his wife Kelly Mahr; and his daughters, Mackenzie Mahr and Bailey Gowl (Melvin).
In lieu of flowers, Wes and the family request memorial donations be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in memory of Wes Mahr.
