She is survived by: her close friend Rodney Rhodes; her children, Chelsey De La Torre, Andreas De La Torre (Love Cagar), Shaniqua Hazelton (Canisha Goodseal) and Tyrone Hazelton (Lorelei); her grandchildren, Mi'Kaiel De La Torre and Na'eem De La Torre; and her brother Joseph Gutierrez (Amanda).
