He was predeceased by: his wife Patricia Ann Wilkerson Johnson of Elkins, WV; and his parents, Robert Earl and Florence Sexton Johnson of Buckhannon, WV.. He is survived by: his sons, John Mark (Jeanna Viscomi Johnson) and Douglas Scott (Korinne Harper Johnson); and his grandchildren, Joel Viscomi, Jasmine, Jacob Johnson, Nicholas Camechis and Julia Brenna Harper.

In lieu of flowers, donations to St. Francis Reflections Life Stage Care (Hospice), the American Cancer Society, or First UMC of Titusville's fund to feed the homeless would be cherished.
