He is survived by: his siblings, Philip and Mary; and his children, Diana Johnson, Daniel Gaffney Jr. (Alison), David Gaffney (Amy), Donna Rogers (Jay) and Darold Gaffney. He is also survived by ten grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
