He was predeceased by: his parents, James Esker and Rachel Lemons (Powell); his children, Stephanie and Geoffrey; and his brothers, J. E. and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Janet; his sister Janet Gay Koontz; his children, Michael (Deborah), Brian (Terri), Doug (Krista) and Deirdre (Bosse Hammar); and his grandchildren, David (Joyce), Chris (Charity), Jason (Anna), Kelsey, Erin, Garrett, Douglas and Erik. He is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in Clint's name to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or to the Parkinson's Foundation.
