Lucille Mendola Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Lucille Mendola of Tierra Verde, Florida, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 4, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Lucille farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Lucille is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Ida Salemi and Joseph Salemi; her brothers, Bennie and Vinny; her husband Robert Mendola (Bob); and her grandchildren, Lauren Cassity (Alex), Ed Vicinanza (Melissa), Chet Casquarelli, Michael Vicinanza (Gabbi), Taylor Casquarelli and Joseph Casquarelli.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, February 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Cathedral of St. Jude (5815 5th Ave N, St. Petersburg, FL 33710). A graveside service was held on Thursday, February 13th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the Sarasota National Cemetery (9810 State Rd 72, Sarasota, FL 34241).
