It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Francis Donald Riedel of Tierra Verde, Florida, who passed away on April 5, 2023, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Riedel and Frances Mountner Riedel; his wife Doris Storey Riedel; and his brothers, Richard and Ray Riedel.
He is survived by: his children, Jim Riedel (Marie) of Tierra Verde, FL, Carol McPhillips of Tonawanda, NY and Anne Seed of Leominster, MA; his siblings, Wayne Riedel and Susan McDaniels; his grandchildren, Jennifer Riedel Kitt (Andy) of San Carlos, CA, Michelle Riedel Gallagher (Dennis) of Safety Harbor, FL, Christopher McPhillips (Beth) of Williamsville, NY, Kate Torre (Jay) of Lockport, NY and Peter McPhillips of Kenmore, NY; and his family Riedel Dairy. He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
