He is survived by: his parents, Creed Baughman and Wendy Baughman of Tampa Florida; his sister Melody; his brother-in-law Drake Pledger of Wylie Texas; his brother Noah Baughman of Atlanta Georgia; his aunt Sherry; his uncle Jack Albertson of Brawley California; and his grandparents, Wendell and Ruth Baughman.

“I remember a time when I got in the elevator on the first floor Boswell Hall on campus. Woody entered as well, and then some guys said or did something unusual in the lobby (a common occurrence in a guy's dorm), which Woody and I both saw as the doors were closing. We were both silent, but after a beat, Woody turned to me and asked, "How about those Mets? I don't know who they are, but people always ask about them." Today, this makes me laugh!”
