He was predeceased by: his parents, William Dieterman and Hattie Dieterman (Stryker); his spouse Trena Dodde; his daughter Jodi Dieterman; his granddaughter Mika Marie Malone; his sisters, Verna Baas (Garry) and Elaine Dieterman; his nephew Arthur Dodde; and his in-laws, Marvin Dodde, Andrew Dodde, Josie Dodde, Harm Dodde (Gen) and Alice VanHuizen (Lewis).
He is survived by: his children, Lugene Dieterman (Kay) of Thonotosassa, Marla Heuker (Ken) of McBain, Leann Booms (Steve) of Cadillac, Jerri Lamb (Joey) of Saugatuck and Von Flynn (Jim) of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Matthew Wier (Kayla), Brandon Dieterman (Sarah), Brandie Bateman (Kyle), Torey Pichot, Kade Perrigo, Kevin Heuker (Angie), Stephanie Adkins (Corey), Kimberly Engelhard (Jon), Rhonda Shemer (Will), Shannon Brookshire (James), Katie Slavin (Nathan), Jenna Karim (Randy), Maclain Wiltzer (Yasmin Rodriquez), Aaron Malone and Erik Malone; and his sisters, Wilma Dodde of Grosse Ile and Julia Dieterman of Azle, Texas.. He is also survived by 27 great grandchildren.
