He was predeceased by: his wife Eloise; his parents, John Ombie and Willie Mae Leab; and his siblings, Dorothy Bennett, Earleen Maxwell Evans, Juanita Leab, Gracie Leab, William Allen Leab, John Leab and Jack Leab.

He is survived by: his children, Kenneth G. Leab Jr. (Tonya), Missy Harvey (Tony) and Karen Leab; and his brother Thomas Leab (Heidi). He is also survived by seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.
