She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sammons and Gladys Sammons; her husband Wayne E. Hart; her son Benjamin Tyler Hart; and her grandchildren, Brian Granuth, David Granuth and Amber Flores.

She is survived by: her daughters, Penny C. Hart and Deborah L. Scott; her siblings, Buddy Sammons, Tommy Sammons, Lois Heggs, Jane Martin and Denise; and her grandchildren, Jessica O'Brian, Jennifer Sykes and Patrick Scott. She is also survived by her 8 great-grandchildren.
