It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of John Boyd Faulkenberry of Thonotosassa, Florida, born in Lancaster, South Carolina, who passed away on October 23, 2023, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Alma Faulkenberry and John Faulkenberry; his siblings, Sarah, Mary, Joe and Paul; and his former wife Norma.
He is survived by: his wife Gwendolyn; his children, Deryl Faulkenberry (Suzy) of Dade City and Suzanne Hughes (Michael) of Woodstock, Georgia; his stepson Johnny Parton (Wendy) of Zephyrhills; his grandchildren, Mallory Faulkenberry Evans, Taylor Hughes and Matthew Hughes; and his siblings, Sylvia Rape (Richard), Linda Everall of Lancaster, SC and Thomas Faulkenberry (Helen) of Panama City, Florida. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
