He was predeceased by: his parents, Leonard Leavitt and Elizabeth Doll Leavitt. He is survived by: his sister Loraine; his wife Linda Durbin Leavitt; and his sons, Lenny (Valery), Stephen and Brian. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the New Covenant United Methodist Church (3470 Woodridge Dr, The Villages, FL 32162). A burial was held on Tuesday, February 11th 2025 at the Florida National Cemetery (6502 SW 102nd Ave, Bushnell, FL 33513).
