He was predeceased by: his former wife Roma Gene Whipp (Rice); and his son Brian Whipp. He is survived by: his wife Yoby Whipp; his grandchildren, Roman Gravely, Middleburg (VA) and Megan Maddox (Dave); his stepchildren, Djuana Holtman (Eddie), Jimmy Whittemore (Melonie) and Perry Whittemore; his stepgrandchildren, Dylan Holtman (Kailene), Trey, Tanner Whittemore and Tyler Pirkle; and his stepgreat-grandsons, Lincoln Holtman of Georgia and Bradley Pirkle of Georgia.
