We are sad to announce that on March 15, 2025 we had to say goodbye to Claude Joseph Hurst (The Villages, Florida), born in Corydon, Indiana. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Littel Hurst and Mary Lavine Schuppert Hurst; his daughter Jackie Shake; and his grandson Cory Hurst. He is survived by: his wife Donna Joy Hurst; his children, Traci (Jeff Meissner), Micheal Hurst, Daniel (Margaret Hurst) and Jeff (Judy Hurst); his brother Robert Hurst; and his grandchildren, April (Brian Boje), Jennifer Hurst, Michael Hurst, Tabitha Hurst (Kevin Tweedy), Ella Meissner, Avery Meissner and Eden Meissner.
Visitation will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, March 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM. The military honors will be held on Tuesday, April 1st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Florida National Cemetery.
Donations in lieu of flowers can be made to Cornerstone Hospice in The Villages or Wounded Warrior's Foundation in memory of Joe. Honor Claude Hurst's memory by donating to a cause they cared about.
