He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugene Vallat and Marion Vallat; and his brother Bruce Vallat. He is survived by: his wife Gina Vallat; his sons, John Vallat (Jennifer) and Thomas Vallat (Tabitha); his grandchildren, Chelsey Gifford, CJ Smith, Bryant Vallat, Cameron Lyons, Amanda Vallat and Mya Vallat; and his pet DJing.
