He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter V. Ryan, Sr. and Marie Evelyn (Devins); his sister Mary Roberta Lane; his wife Theresa Hickey Ryan; his former wife Kitty Phillips Ryan; and his son-in-law Tomi Riekkinen.
He is survived by: his brother Richard Ryan (Barbara); his children, Eileen Gaines (Ken) of New Smyrna Beach, FL, Tom Ryan (Jill) of Massapequa, N. Y., Sheila Askham (Robin), Arvada, Kathleen Ryan Riekkinen of Smithtown, NY and Trish Clarke (Thomas) of Massapequa, NY.; his grandchildren, Kevin Ryan (Abbie), Chris Ryan (Andrew), Charlie Askham, Christine Kamin (David), Bailey, Elizabeth Riekkinen, Matthew and Will Clarke; and his great grandchildren, Ryan, Austin and Micah.
