He was predeceased by: his parents, O. D. Florence and Obadiah N. Florence; his sister Glenda A Curry; his nephew Benjamin M Wilson; and his brother Vincent A Florence.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Vincent Florence Jr. (Asha) and Ashlee Nicole Howard; his wife Virginia Wells Florence; his granddaughters, Arianna Moore and Lyric V. Florence; and his siblings, Doris J Aiken of Columbus, Belinda Parker of Bethlehem, Ginny Flenoy, Mary E Jahada (George) of East Stroudsburg, Gail Florence of Long Beach and Otis Florence (Deborah) of Tampa. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
