He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Beryl Hensel and Eva Cunningham Hensel; his wife Joan Simon; his children, Michael Hensel (Monica), Angela Hensel, Dr. Marc Hensel (Enie Hensel) and Nicole Hensel (Jamie Muldoon); his brother Dr. Barry Hensel; his sister-in-law Pamela; and his sister Eva. He was also cherished by many nieces, nephews and loving sisters- and brothers-in-law.
If so inclined, the family is requesting donations may be made to the New Tampa YMCA, a place that provided Jim an outlet and respite for his long battle with rheumatoid arthritis.
