She was predeceased by: her parents, Winford Powell and Grace Venuti Vance; her husband Sherman James; and her son Sherman II. She is survived by: her daughter Vicki Ridgeway (Mark); her grandchildren, Sherman James III, Mitchell Ridgeway and Catherine Ridgeway; her brother Robert Dodd; and her sisters-in-law, Nancy Dodd and Sheila Dodd. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM and from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 9:30 AM and at 10:30 AM. A burial will be held on Monday, April 21st 2025 at 8:15 PM at the Lakeside Memory Gardens (36601 County Rd 19A, Eustis, FL 32726).
In lieu of flowers the family has asked for donations to go to either the ASPCA or St. Judes Childrens Hospital.
